The UN commented on the "deal of the century" trump in Israel and Palestine

UN committed to 1967 border conflict between Palestine and IsraelThe United Nations remains committed to resolving the conflict between Israel and Palestine on the basis of international instruments. US President Donald Trump presented his settlement plan, which, among other things, provides for the creation of a Palestinian state.
The United Nations will continue to support the resolution of the conflict between Israel and Palestine on the basis of Security Council and General Assembly resolutions. This is stated in a UN statement released on January 28.

The United States published its settlement plan that day, which American President Donald Trump called the "deal of the century."

"The UN remains committed to supporting the resolution of the conflict between Palestine and Israel on the basis of UN resolutions, international law and bilateral agreements and the realization of the vision of two states - Palestine and Israel - neighboring in peace and security within recognized borders of 1967," the statement said.

Trump’s plan , among other things, provides for the creation of a Palestinian state and investments worth more than $ 50 billion. Jerusalem will remain the "indivisible capital" of Israel, while the capital of the state of Palestine will be Al-Quds, which will include the eastern parts of Jerusalem, the document says. Trump has published a  map of the possible location of the  two states.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanhu supported Trump's plan . Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas said he says thousands of no to this initiative. He called the deal a "conspiracy" and a "slap of the century." According to him, Jerusalem is not for sale, and Palestine "will not kneel."

Israel occupied the eastern part of Jerusalem after the 1967 war and considers the whole city to be its indivisible capital. The international community does  not recognize this  and insists that the status of the city should be determined during the Palestinian-Israeli peace talks. Palestinians, in turn, want to declare East Jerusalem the capital of their state.

The administrative capital of Israel is now located in Tel Aviv, and the Palestinian National Authority is based in Ramallah.

In 2014, Abbas  proposed making Jerusalem the  common capital of two states. On December 6, 2017, Trump  officially recognized Jerusalem as the capital of Israel  and announced the transfer of the U.S. Embassy to this city, after which relations between the U.S. and the Palestinian Authority were almost broken.
